Road to Gold Point, Nevada

Hwy 95 goes northwest out of Las Vegas. It runs between Nellis Air Force Base and Death Valley. Off hwy 95 are many dirt roads worth exploring. Ghost towns, abandand mines and remains of a time past are everywhere. If Vegas gets to be too much, rent a car or SUV and take a road trip. A 4 x 4 isn't always necessary, but having one is less stressful.
Gold Point and Tokop are two ghost towns with lots of history.
