Moab-Kane Creek

A BLM map showed Kane Creek Road as a passable road with a four wheel drive. Don't believe it. Big Red and I never got to the end of the trail and we barely got back by dark. The truck sustained $4,000.00 of body damage by hitting rocks and bottoming out. No one else was out there until late afternoon when a dune buggy showed up. Seemingly in awe of a Ford f 150 that far back in the canyon, the occupants of the buggy asked if I really was from Wisconsin. I'm not sure what that question implied. They were kind enough to state they would look for me in the morning if I didn't get back to Moab. We exchanged cell numbers and turned around.
