Zion's East Rim

Backpacking with my son along the East Rim of Zion Canyon was a great way to experience this National Park. It wasn't a cake walk, but it wasn't death defying either. The scenery was worth it. It got better each step west towards Zion Canyon. There was plenty of wildlife like deer and wild turkeys to observe. Plenty of cougar sign but no sightings...this time.
